The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just sent a document to the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security to seek opinions on the appraisal of the investment policy dossier for the project to build a new urban area and services in Khac Niem ward, Van Duong ward and Dai Phuc ward, Bac Ninh city.
The province proposed that the two ministries determine whether the project is in an area that needs to ensure national defense and security. This is the basis for determining whether the project is licensed for sale to foreigners or not.
Accordingly, the above project is located in Khac Niem ward, Van Duong ward and Dai Phuc ward, Bac Ninh city, Bac Ninh province.
The project's goal is to build an Urban - Service Area, serving the investment needs of the development of Bac Ninh city.
The project scale is about 143.86 hectares. Invest in the construction of works: Low-rise housing, social housing in the form of apartments, Commercial and service areas, hotels, social infrastructure works (kindergarten, primary school, secondary school, commercial and service works, Cultural and sports center, green park...) and technical infrastructure of the project.
The total estimated investment capital is more than VND 12.1 trillion, the project's operation period is: 50 years (from the date the competent authority decides to allocate land). Investor selection method: Bidding to select investors.
Project implementation progress: Quarter I/2025 - Quarter I/2033. The investment proposal creator is Vinh Tuy Investment Joint Stock Company.
Bac Ninh is one of the industrial capitals in the North, concentrating a series of FDI giants in the fields of technology equipment manufacturing, electronics, and semiconductors.
In recent years, Bac Ninh has also become the destination of a series of large investors in the real estate sector.
Currently, Bac Ninh province is also calling for investment in a series of urban areas in Bac Ninh city, Tu Son, Tien Du district with a total estimated capital of more than 105,000 billion VND.
In September 2024, Phu My Hung's member company was also approved by Bac Ninh province to invest in an urban area of VND27,000 billion in Thuan Thanh town.
Transport infrastructure in Bac Ninh is changing strongly. Gia Binh airport in Xuan Lai commune and Gia Binh town, Gia Binh district, Bac Ninh province has just started construction at the end of last year.
This project is being consulted by the Ministry of Transport with ministries and branches to add to the planning of the domestic international airport network.
Hanoi City has also agreed on the plan to build a nearly 50km, 120m wide road connecting Gia Binh airport with the center of the capital.
Bac Ninh province aims to become a centrally-governed city by the end of 2026.
