In the afternoon of March 20, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, had a working session and inspected the progress of the project to invest in building technical infrastructure and auxiliary works of Van Mieu Park (in Kinh Bac and Vo Cuong wards).
The project to invest in building technical infrastructure and auxiliary works of Van Mieu Park is built on an area of about 4.7 hectares; divided into 3 zones.
Currently, the project has disbursed 80.24% of the public investment capital. Zone 1 has basically completed construction. The project is currently facing difficulties and obstacles in site clearance of a part of residential land (belonging to Vo Cuong ward) and has not been able to relocate the 22kV power line in Zone 2.
Area No. 3 to be completed needs to complete the works built with socialized capital. However, so far, no funding has been received to implement the next steps of the items using socialized capital.
After directly inspecting the project site, Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Thai acknowledged the sense of responsibility of the investor and construction units in the implementation process.
In addition, frankly point out that the project is being delayed due to some objective factors.
Unanimously agreeing on the policy of extending the project implementation time to early August 2026, the Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee requested the Kinh Bac Construction Project Management Board to closely coordinate with construction contractors and supervision units to urgently build a suitable roadmap, uphold the spirit of responsibility, and absolutely not allow the situation of "progress delay, determination slowdown".
Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai requested Vo Cuong ward to focus on implementing tasks to clear the remaining land area; in which to promote strengthening and mobilizing people to agree to hand over the land.
The Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee also noted that it is necessary to be careful and meticulous to every detail of the items in the project; for areas that have basically been completed, immediately install auxiliary items such as: lighting, green trees... Sponsors continue to pay attention, closely follow and report to competent authorities to ensure financial resources for construction units to implement according to the schedule.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai assigned Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi to directly be the "general commander", responsible for closely following and directing the implementation of tasks and work of the project, ensuring compliance with regulations and close to the set schedule.
