Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh has just signed a decision approving the investment policy and assigning the investor to implement a social housing project in Song Khe 2 residential area, Tien Phong ward, Bac Ninh province.
According to the decision, the social housing project in Song Khe 2 residential area, Tien Phong ward is invested by BG Joint Stock Company; with a land use scale of about 0.68 ha.
The construction items implemented in the project land include: High-rise social housing apartments, transportation system, external technical infrastructure located within the project boundaries, complete and synchronous.
Specifically, the social housing project is 20 above-ground floors and 1 basement floor, the construction density of the basement is about 95%, the construction density of the basement block is about 40%, the construction density of the tower block is about 33%, the total construction land area is about 2,712m2, the total construction floor area is about 52,667m2 (including common living area, parking basement).
The number of apartments is expected to be about 446 apartments for sale, apartment areas from 25m2 - 77m2.
The basement is designed for parking and technical works; the 1st and 2nd floors serve commercial and service business, public space; from the 3rd to the 20th floors are arranged apartments for living and community activities. The project meets accommodation for about 884 people.
The project's operating term is 50 years from the date the investor is allocated land, leased land, and allowed to change land use purposes by a competent state agency.
It is known that Bac Ninh is one of the leading localities in the country in terms of social housing development results. In 2025, the province completed nearly 20,000 social housing units, accounting for about 20% of the country's total supply.
In 2026, the province is assigned a target of 19,000 units, higher than Hanoi, but the province sets a target to continue to complete over 20,000 units.
Currently, the construction of social housing in Bac Ninh province continues to take place strongly and comprehensively across all subjects.
In particular, Bac Ninh province started construction of the first social housing building for the Police force and is expected to soon start the next project for the Army force.
