The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just sent an official dispatch to the Department of Construction.
Accordingly, considering the proposal of the Department of Construction in Official Dispatch No. No. 25.11.2025 on reporting the implementation of 2 projects: (1) Social housing area in Dinh Tri - Tan Dinh New Urban Area, Bac Giang ward and Tan Dinh commune, Bac Ninh province; (2) Social housing area in the Northeast Urban Area, Bac Giang ward, Bac Ninh province.
Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Pham Van Thinh has the following opinion:
The Social Housing Project in the Dinh Tri - Tan Dinh New Urban Area, Bac Giang Ward and Tan Dinh Commune, Bac Ninh Province and the Social Housing Area in the Northeast Urban Area, Bac Giang Ward, Bac Ninh Province with a large investment scale (expected at over VND 4,500 billion), has not been cleared, does not have connecting infrastructure, needs to be publicly announced to select investors with capacity and experience to invest in construction and ensure good operation and management of apartment buildings when the project comes into operation.
Assign the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for decision to announce and publicize information on the two projects according to regulations to select investors with capacity and experience to participate in project proposal implementation in accordance with the provisions of law.
According to the Department of Construction of Bac Ninh, the whole province is currently implementing 90 social housing projects, with a scale of more than 311 hectares with 10.3 million m2 of floor space, expected to provide more than 127,000 apartments when completed. In addition to the completed and partially completed projects, there are 15 projects under construction, 36 projects are in the stage of site clearance and investment preparation...
Bac Ninh is the leading locality in the country in social housing development - according to the assessment of the Ministry of Construction.
In the first 9 months of 2025, this locality has completed 12,649 more apartments, reaching about 80% of the target assigned by the Prime Minister in 2025 (15,920 apartments). Regarding the target for 2026, Bac Ninh province registered to develop 20,000 social housing units (an increase of more than 2,000 units compared to the target assigned by the Government).
