On May 17, the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Construction informed about the project to build social housing apartments in the An Phu urban area project (Tan An ward, Buon Ma Thuot city).
Accordingly, this social housing project has an investment capital of 212 billion VND, a total floor area of 30,904m2 on a construction area of 10,174m2.
The project is implemented by the urban area project investor with over 20% of the project's residential land fund with completed technical infrastructure to invest in social housing according to regulations.
In early May 2025, the investor handed over the first block of social housing with 35 apartments to residents. In June 2025, the enterprise will hand over the second social housing block with 28 apartments.
At the end of April, Ms. Phan Thi Anh Tuyet (residing in Dak Lak province) was one of the first tenants in the project.
Ms. Tuyet said: "Having a social housing unit is the family's long-standing dream. Because with the current income of the couple, it is very difficult to buy land and build a house outside. The apartment I just received has enough usable area, beautiful design, and a sturdy structure".
The representative of the An Phu urban area project said that the enterprise is focusing on building and completing infrastructure items for all 9 social housing blocks. The goal is to complete the handover of a total of 330 units in 2025, on schedule.
The An Phu social housing project is one of three social housing projects registered in Dak Lak province implemented by commercial urban investment enterprises according to regulations, with 20% of the land fund having completed infrastructure.
According to the Department of Construction of Dak Lak province, these social housing projects are expected to meet about 2,000 social housing units for the locality.
