These are 2 dangerously degraded apartment buildings in the ward.
2 apartment buildings A7, A8 were both built in the 1970s - 1980s of the last century, and have long been degraded to level D. In 2023, Hai Phong City put 10 apartment buildings in Van My apartment complex into the area requiring urgent support. After Typhoon Yagi, in the 5-story apartment building block A7 Van My, a tilting situation appeared, with the risk of collapse and leading to the entire 5-story A8 block behind.

Ngo Quyen District People's Committee (old) has completed the relocation of assets of all 303 households in the area of apartment buildings A7, A8 to new residences to ensure safety and in accordance with legal regulations. Faced with the situation that apartment building blocks A7, A8 are increasingly degraded, the demolition of these apartment buildings is to ensure safety for people around the area during the rainy and storm season.
