Many abandoned villas continue to increase in price
According to a survey by Lao Dong, in Duong Noi urban area (Ha Dong district, Hanoi), a series of townhouses and villas are abandoned and uninhabited.
The Duong Noi urban area project (Ha Dong district, Hanoi) is built on a land area of 77.3 hectares with a scale of 4 subdivisions: Duong Noi Urban Area 1, 2, 3, 4 (division A, B, C, D). These villas were roughly completed in 2018, but most of them are now abandoned and wasted.
Not only Duong Noi urban area, in Ha Dong there are also many abandoned villas in Van Phu, Phu Luong and Kien Hung. next to it are auctioned and service land that has been left unused for a decade but has not been built.

According to research, the price of townhouses and villas in this project is advertised for sale at about 150 - 320 million VND/m2.
For example, a 250m2 villa on the surface of Duong Noi Lake is being offered for sale at a price of 80 billion VND, equivalent to 320 million VND/m2.

Reclaiming more than 66 hectares of land for a project to expand a 3,900 billion VND hydropower plant in Dong Nai
On June 27, according to information from the Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai province, the Tri An Hydropower Plant expansion project (Vinh Cuu district) has so far approved a compensation and land recovery plan for more than 66/92, reaching more than 72% of the land area to be recovered for the project. The remaining area is cases of uncompetent subdivided land.

The Provincial People's Committee has directed the People's Committee of Vinh Cuu district to urgently complete the determination of specific land prices, apply prices, and develop a compensation, support and resettlement plan in June 2025.
The Tri An Hydropower Plant expansion project is invested by Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), a type of group A industrial project, with a total investment of more than VND 3,900 billion, including 2 200MW power plants, expected to start construction on the occasion of the National Day on September 2. Quang Binh increases capital for coastal road projects
The coastal road project has been reported by Lao Dong Newspaper many times as being behind schedule due to land clearance problems, and is now being increased by the People's Council of Quang Binh province.

Component project 1 - Coastal Road in Quang Binh has just been approved by the Provincial People's Council to adjust and increase capital by 290 billion VND for site clearance (GPMB), many sections are "interrupted", construction is slow because the site cannot be handed over synchronously.
The coastal route is considered a strategic development axis of the province, connecting economic zones, seaports, airports and border gates, contributing to connecting the East - West corridor, creating a boost for tourism and logistics infrastructure. However, as Lao Dong Newspaper has repeatedly reported, this project has continuously encountered problems in site clearance, causing prolonged progress delays.
As of the end of June 2025, the project has approved compensation plans for 72.8/80km (reaching 91%) and has actually handed over 71.53/80km (reaching 89.4%). However, the site was cut off and not continuously, making it impossible for the contractor to construct continuously. See more...
Da Nang adjusts housing development program until 2030
The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued Decision No. 1972/QD-UBND, approving the adjustment of the Da Nang City Housing Development Program for the period 2021-2030 with the content of Supplementing the Area of Proposed Housing Development.
There are 69 areas expected to develop social housing. In which: there are 15 areas where the project is being implemented, including: 1 area in Hai Chau district, 2 areas in Son Tra district, 3 areas in Ngu Hanh Son district, 7 areas in Lien Chieu district, 2 areas in Hoa Vang district.

54 areas expected to implement social housing projects include: 1 area in Son Tra district, 7 areas in Ngu Hanh Son district, 12 areas in Lien Chieu district, 7 areas in Cam Le district, 27 areas in Hoa Vang district.
The list of areas expected to develop commercial housing is 122 areas. Of which, there are 72 areas where the project is being implemented, including: 14 areas in Hai Chau district, 23 areas in Son Tra district, 16 areas in Ngu Hanh Son district, 13 areas in Lien Chieu district, 2 areas in Hoa Vang district, 2 areas in Cam Le district, 2 areas combined with Lien Chieu district and Hoa Vang district.
