Land auctions in Quang Ngai increase from 6 to 12 times the starting price
Dozens of plots of land with surplus assets were auctioned to generate revenue for the budget, increasing the starting price by 6 to 12 times.

According to the Quang Ngai Provincial Land Fund Development Center, the unit has submitted for approval the auction results of 38 plots of land in Tra Giang commune (Nghia Lam commune and the old Nghia Thang commune).
Accordingly, there are 32 lots in Resettlement Area of Village 1, Nghia Lam Commune (old) and 6 lots in Nghia Thang Residential Area (old). This is a surplus asset that will be auctioned to generate revenue for the budget, after the State completes the resettlement when upgrading and expanding Provincial Road 623B (Quang Ngai - Thach Nham).
The total area of 38 lots of more than 5,770m2, all of which are rural land, has been invested in and completed with infrastructure. The area of each lot ranges from 118 - 183m2, but is mainly over 150m2.
The starting price is determined according to the current land price list, so it should be relatively low, from only 600,000 VND to more than 2.3 million VND/m2, so the starting price is only nearly 100 million VND to more than 320 million VND/plot. The deposit is from nearly 20 million VND to over 64 million VND/plot, depending on the location. See more...
Workers are excited by the proposal to increase the income threshold for buying social housing
The proposal to increase the income threshold to buy social housing has received support from many workers, because this policy expands housing opportunities for people.

According to current regulations, one of the conditions for people to buy social housing is an income of no more than 15 million VND/month (for single people) and no more than 30 million VND/month (for husband and wife).
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh recently agreed with the proposal of the Ministry of Construction on raising the threshold of income allowed to buy social housing. According to the proposal, single people with an income of no more than 20 million VND/month and households of the couple with no more than 40 million VND/month will be approved. This is a positive signal, opening up opportunities for many workers who are " backward-throwing" between the two segments.
Talking to Lao Dong, Mr. Le Van Khanh (29 years old, from Hung Yen) currently works in the media sector in Hanoi with an average income of about 18 million VND/month. Although he is renting a house and wants to buy it to stabilize his housing, he is not eligible to participate in the social housing program because his income exceeds the prescribed level.
