On the morning of August 25, right after a meeting at the Government Forward Command Headquarters at the Military Region 4 Command, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, Ha Tinh Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Lam, Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai inspected the implementation of response to storm No. 5 in Ha Tinh.

The Deputy Prime Minister and leaders of Ha Tinh province inspected the Hoi Thong dike (Dan Hai commune). Here, the Deputy Prime Minister directed the need to continue to promptly deploy measures to ensure the safety of dykes and dams, promptly detect and handle incidents.

After that, the Deputy Prime Minister visited and encouraged the evacuated people in Dan Hai commune. Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha requested the military and police forces to urgently deploy human resources and means of access to support the transportation of food, provisions, dry goods, bread, milk, relief goods, etc. to the people. Ensure people are safe, not hungry, and feel secure evacuating.

Next, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Lam, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha chaired an urgent meeting of the Command Department in front of Ha Tinh province to deploy urgent measures to respond to storm No. 5.

At the meeting, leaders of the province, relevant departments and branches assessed the situation of storm No. 5 through on-site inspection to implement the next plans according to the scenario.
