Representatives of Becamex Group said that the enterprise has allocated clean land funds to develop social housing to serve the housing needs of workers.
Specifically, in the coming period, the enterprise will arrange 70 hectares in the allocated land areas to build about 30,000 social housing apartments.
In 2026, the enterprise is deploying the construction of 10,000 social housing apartments. Among them, there are 4 projects with about 6,230 apartments that are completing dossiers to apply for construction permits.
In addition, 2 projects with over 4,000 apartments are being built: in Dinh Hoa area (Chanh Hiep ward) 2,400 apartments are being built, in Viet Sing area (Thuan Giao ward) 1,870 apartments are being built.
Representatives of Becamex Group said that the projects will be implemented near industrial parks with a large concentration of workers in the North of Ho Chi Minh City. The area of apartments is designed from 30-60 m2. The enterprise will also build utility works to serve workers.
