On July 14, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued a Decision to amend and supplement the Project to convert Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an Urban - Commercial - Service Area and improve the environment (abbreviated as the Project) approved with Decision 324/QD-UBND dated February 5, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee.
According to the decision, the scale of the project is about 329 hectares, divided into 3 areas including:
Urban - commercial - service area about 50.5 ha (Area 1); Provincial political - administrative urban area about 103.5 ha (Area 2).
These two areas are in priority areas for compensation and site clearance with a total area of about 154 hectares.
Area 3 is also an urban - commercial - service area of about 175 hectares.
The areas to note are the projects being implemented and operating, including: Dong Nai Provincial Police Headquarters with an area of about 5.76 hectares being implemented and the State Audit Headquarters of Area XIII with an area of about 0.5 hectares has been put into operation.
The 3 detention areas include: Lam Son Park and the transformer station on the road axis 1 parallel to National Highway 1A; the water station and Sonadezi Building.
The relocation areas include: 33MW Power Station located at the central water square and the 3rd Quality Measurement Technical Center.
Regarding the relocation period, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to carry out the task of compensation and site clearance for enterprise organizations within the scope of the Project, with completion time before August 1, 2025.
Regarding the investor selection plan, for Area 1 and Area 3, it is in the form of auctioning land use rights.
