On July 14, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan had a working session with the delegation of Hoa Nam Company (China), to discuss and promote cooperation in the field of urban infrastructure construction and seeking new investment opportunities in the capital.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan said that in the past, Hanoi and Chinese corporations have cooperated to implement many large-scale infrastructure projects. Notably, urban railway lines - the area that Hanoi is prioritizing in developing to enhance regional connectivity, with a total planned length of over 600km, connecting the capital with neighboring provinces and cities.
Hanoi welcomes large corporations to participate in investing and building urban railway systems and road transport infrastructure. This is an area where we are mobilizing all resources to promote development" - Mr. Duong Duc Tuan emphasized.
The leaders of the Hanoi People's Committee also highly appreciated Hoa Nam Company's establishment of a representative office in Vietnam, and expressed their consensus with the proposals for research and development of satellite cities in the Son Tay and Phu Xuyen areas.
"Hoa Nam Company's proposals are in line with Hanoi's urban space development orientation. The city will synchronously deploy transport infrastructure to connect satellite urban areas, thereby creating momentum for the development of suburban areas. We hope Hoa Nam Company will continue to research and propose effective investment solutions" - Mr. Duong Duc Tuan said.

To promote cooperation, the representative of the Hanoi government also said that Hoa Nam Company will be connected with large Vietnamese corporations to closely coordinate in researching and implementing urban infrastructure projects.
On the business side, Mr. Luu Hong Hac - Deputy General Director of Hoa Nam Company shared his desire to contribute to the development of Hanoi, in the context of increasingly strengthened cooperation between the two countries.
Hanoi is having remarkable infrastructure development. We see a lot of investment potential and want to play the role of contractor and investor in the City's urban development projects," said Mr. Luu Hong Hac.
Mr. Hac said that Hoa Nam Company is one of the leading enterprises in China in the construction sector, especially urban railway projects. The company has been operating in Vietnam for the past 6 years and has participated in many large-scale projects.
"We are committed to fully complying with Vietnamese legal regulations, ensuring the progress and quality of the project if assigned for implementation. At the same time, we hope to contribute investment capital, create job opportunities for people, and contribute to the sustainable development of Hanoi Capital Mr. Luu Hong Hac affirmed.
