News from the Office of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province on August 8, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee officially issued a decision to cancel many decisions related to the previous unsanitary land auction in Nha Mat ward, Bac Lieu city, Bac Lieu province.
The decision of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province to cancel all decisions of the Provincial People's Committee, including: Decision No. 165/QD-UBND dated July 2, 2019 of the Provincial People's Committee on approving the auction plan for land use rights at plot No. 09 and plot No. 16, map sheet No. 61, Nha Mat ward, Bac Lieu city; Decision No. 185/QD-UBND dated July 18, 2019 of the Provincial People's Committee on the decision to auction land use rights at plot No. 09 and plot No. 16, map sheet No. 61, Nha Mat ward, Bac Lieu city; Decision No. 210/QD-UBND dated July 28, 2020 of the Provincial People's Committee on recognizing the results of the auction of land use rights at plot No. 09 and plot No. 16, map sheet No. 61, Li Pha City; Decision No. 220-UBND dated January 16, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee on the results of the auction of land use rights at plot No. 16.20 and land use results of plot No. 16.20 of the Provincial People's Committee on the auction of land use rights at plot No. 16.20 and land use of the City People's Committee on the results of the auction of land use of the land auction of the City.
The reason for revoking the above decisions was stated by the People's Committee of Ca Mau province: The Bac Lieu Provincial Housing and Land Fund Development Center organized an auction of land use rights when the land has not been cleared according to the provisions of Point b, Clause 1, Article 119 of the 2013 Land Law (according to Conclusion No. 29/KL-TTT dated June 19, 2025 of the Provincial Inspectorate Chief Inspector).
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to organize the implementation of this decision to relevant organizations and individuals in accordance with legal regulations.
Assign the Bac Lieu Land Fund Development Center and related units to implement Conclusion No. 29/KL-TTT dated June 19, 2025 of the Provincial Inspectorate; Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, Director of the Department of Finance, Director of the Bac Lieu Land Fund Development Center, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hiep Thanh Ward and heads of relevant agencies and units to be responsible for implementation.
Previously, Lao Dong reported this incident in the article "Land auctions are not clean, a series of officials are being proposed for review" stating that the land has not been compensated and cleared, but the Bac Lieu Provincial Real Estate Fund Development Center has advised on auctioning. Ironically, the winners did not pay or implement the project, causing a series of officials to be asked to review.
