Can Tho City People's Committee has issued an official dispatch requesting departments, branches, and localities to urgently implement specific mechanisms and policies to accelerate the progress of handling and exploiting redundant houses and land after arranging and streamlining the organizational structure of the political system and administrative units.
In this official dispatch, the Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee requested agencies, units, and localities to develop implementation plans, clearly define the content of work, roadmap, completion time, output results and responsibilities of each agency, unit, and individual.
Can Tho City prioritizes arranging surplus houses and land for medical, educational and training, cultural, sports and other public purposes; publicize information to attract businesses and people to participate and supervise.
Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee also requested to fully and promptly promulgate regulations on supporting the lease of houses and land that are public assets for small and medium-sized enterprises, supporting industry enterprises, innovative enterprises... to ensure that priority subjects have access to state policies.
In addition, review all redundant houses and land under management; update data fully, promptly, and accurately; build and apply a system of indicators to evaluate implementation results in the spirit of the Prime Minister's direction, taking the results of handling and exploiting redundant houses and land as an important criterion to assess the level of task completion of the head.
In particular, for units and localities that still have many houses and land facilities that have not been put into operation and thoroughly handled, the Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee assigned the leaders of the Department of Finance to preside over and establish working groups with the participation of leaders of relevant departments and sectors.
The delegation will directly guide and urge communes and wards in the direction of "hand in hand" and directly solve and remove difficulties and obstacles for communes and wards, especially communes and wards in remote, isolated, and difficult areas.
