Currently, specialized departments have actively reviewed and completed many important contents. The Department of Science and Technology has issued identification codes to all 103 communes and wards of the new Can Tho City.
Through inspection, a total of 17 shared administrative procedure settlement information systems of the 3 provinces are operating stably.
Mr. Ngo Anh Tin - Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho said: After working with the Departments of Science and Technology of Soc Trang and Hau Giang provinces, the parties agreed to establish a forward working group. This team will work throughout June 30 and July 1 to ensure connection progress and synchronization of administrative procedure data between systems.
In the immediate future, the public administrative service center of all three provinces will remain the same to operate the system until the digital data is fully localized and ready to switch to a new model".

Previously, on June 21, Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Truong Canh Tuyen signed and issued Official Letter No. 2908/UBND-KSTT on the organization of the Public Administration Service Center at the provincial and commune levels.
According to this document, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested heads of departments, Heads of the Management Board of Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones, Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, communes, wards and towns to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Science and Technology to adjust and update internal processes and electronic processes of administrative procedures according to the two-level local government model.
The update must be based on announcements from central ministries and branches, while ensuring integration with the National Public Service Portal.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Director of the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to advise and guide the establishment of Public Administration Service Centers at the provincial and commune levels; issue regulations on the functions, tasks and powers of these centers.
Request the People's Committees of districts and towns to complete the personnel arrangement at the Commune-level Public Administration Service Center, ensuring compliance with regulations and in accordance with the job position plan. The assignment of staff from specialized departments and offices to perform tasks at the center must be completed and the list must be sent to the City People's Committee Office before June 30, 2025.
Districts and towns need to proactively arrange working headquarters for centers, prioritizing the use of existing facilities from the One-stop department at all levels. At the same time, coordinate with central agencies located in the area to make a list of personnel participating in the center's operation.
Regarding technical infrastructure, the Director of the Department of Science and Technology will coordinate with the Office of the City People's Committee and District People's Committees to review, inherit existing equipment and supplement when necessary, ensuring that it meets professional requirements according to Article 13 of Decree No. 118/2025/ND-CP.
Assign the Chief of Office of the Can Tho City People's Committee to coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs to complete the City Public Administration Service Center by merging the current center with the TTHC Control Department.
The city will ensure the adequate arrangement of personnel, equipment, and infrastructure to carry out administrative procedures smoothly and without interruption. The City People's Committee also requested the urgent promulgation of the Regulations on the operation of the City Public Administration Service Center and instructed the commune level to issue corresponding operating regulations, to be completed before July 10, 2025.
