Dong Nai - The Provincial People's Committee proposed that on July 22, 29 compensation and support plans must be finalized to support businesses relocating from Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park.

According to information from the People's Committee of Dong Nai province during the working session on the progress of relocation and site clearance for Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha proposed that on July 22, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, Tran Bien Ward People's Committee and the Special Working Group for relocation of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park must finalize 29 compensation and support plans.

At the same time, Sonadezi Corporation, Tran Bien Ward People's Committee and the Provincial Land Fund Development Center must determine and quantate the clean land area before the deadline of July 31.

Also on July 22, the Special Working Group for the relocation of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park must complete and issue a detailed plan for the relocation outside the site, from now until July 31. The plan needs to clearly state the implementing unit, participating forces, and completion time for the priority area, to ensure sufficient land funds to start the project to build the Provincial Political - Administrative Urban Area.

The Provincial Land Fund Development Center said that up to this point, the unit has completed the draft compensation and support plan for 65/96 enterprises.

For areas with households living there, the People's Committee of Tran Bien Ward informed that up to now, 323/355 households have been mobilized and relocated, reaching 90%.

In particular, priority area No. 1 has been completely cleared. Area No. 2 has 2 remaining cases, expected to be completed this week. Priority area No. 3 is under implementation, striving to complete before August 31.

According to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, it is expected that by the end of July 2025, Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park will have about 70 hectares of clean land to organize the launching of the Provincial Political - Administrative Center Construction Project.

Previously, on June 22, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued a Decision to amend and supplement the Project to convert Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an Urban - Commercial - Service Area and improve the environment (abbreviated as the Project) approved with Decision 324/QD-UBND dated February 5, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee.

According to the decision, the scale of the project is about 329 hectares, divided into 3 areas including:

Urban - commercial - service area about 50.5 ha (Area 1); Provincial political - administrative urban area about 103.5 ha (Area 2).

These two areas are in priority areas for compensation and site clearance with a total area of about 154 hectares.

Area 3 is also an urban - commercial - service area of about 175 hectares.

Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1, formerly Bien Hoa Industrial Park, was established in 1963 so the infrastructure is built using old technology, lacking a synchronous wastewater treatment system, although it has been upgraded many times.
