On June 20, a fire suddenly broke out at an electric pole on Nguyen Cong Tru Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, causing panic among many people and those present in the area.
According to witnesses, at around 12:30 p.m., the fire started from a small electric pole but then flared up very quickly, with the risk of spreading to neighboring stores. At that time, dozens of guests and staff in a nearby restaurant were extremely shocked, immediately shouting to each other to run outside to ensure their safety.

Immediately after receiving the report, only about 10 minutes later, the fire truck and local authorities quickly arrived at the scene. The fire was completely controlled and extinguished, promptly preventing the fire from spreading and causing greater damage.

A representative of Ho Chi Minh City Electricity said that the initial cause of the fire was determined to be an incident from a telecommunication cable at the power pole. Fortunately, thanks to the quick response of the fire fighting force, the power grid was not affected and there was no significant damage.
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City Police are coordinating with relevant units to investigate and verify the exact cause of the fire.
