Below the above content is attached a document from the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province (dated September 16) regarding the opinion surrounding the content of the enterprise requesting confirmation that available housing meets the conditions to be put into business and that the housing meets the conditions to be put into use.

The fact that Song Da - Nha Trang Joint Stock Company posted on its website the content "confirming that available housing meets the conditions for being put into business and housing meets the conditions for being put into use by the Department of Construction..." can easily cause misunderstandings for customers.

If not careful, customers may misunderstand that the Department of Construction has confirmed for some items of the project that "housing is available and housing is eligible for business".

In fact, the authorities have not confirmed any of the content posted by this company. According to the representative of the professional agency at the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province, the document dated September 16 of the Department of Construction cited the provisions of the law for investors to implement before being "confirmed that the available housing is eligible to be put into business and the housing is eligible to be put into use".

This representative affirmed that the Department of Construction did not confirm that the Tan Lap Islet Residential Area project "enough conditions to be put into business and the houses enough conditions to be put into use".

Regarding the investor Song Da - Nha Trang Joint Stock Company posting misleading information on the website, a representative of the Khanh Hoa Province Department of Construction said that tomorrow they will inspect and take action according to regulations.

A noisy project for nearly 13 years

The Tan Lap Islet Residential Area Investment Project is built on an area of ​​over 7.9 hectares, with a total investment of VND 2,718 billion. This is a joint venture project between Song Da - Thang Long Joint Stock Company (40%) and Song Da - Nha Trang Joint Stock Company (60%). This project was first approved for investment by Khanh Hoa province in 2011.

After nearly 13 years, this project is in disarray and behind schedule. In May 2024, the Investigation Police Agency of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police is verifying and investigating the case with signs of law violations by individuals, agencies and organizations in the process of land acquisition and land allocation for project implementation.

Most recently, Nha Trang City People's Committee issued 4 decisions on administrative sanctions (May 2024) against Song Da - Nha Trang Joint Stock Company with a total fine of 520 million VND (the fine was paid and a construction permit was granted afterwards).

The authorities determined that the investor had committed a violation by organizing the construction of a project without a construction permit, which according to regulations requires a construction permit for a project requiring an economic-technical report on construction investment at the Tan Lap Islet Residential Area project.
