In the afternoon of March 31, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh and the working delegation inspected and worked on the implementation situation of a number of projects and planning projects in Au Lau ward.
Also participating in the delegation were Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Sinh; Major General Dang Quoc Dong - Commander of the Provincial Military Command; leaders of departments: Construction, Agriculture and Environment; Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 of the province, Provincial Land Fund Development Center and leaders of Au Lau ward.
At the working session, the delegation inspected the reality of the Yen Bai Riverside Urban Area Project and the Binh Minh Tay Bac Social Housing Project invested by Binh Minh Tay Bac Joint Stock Company.
In which, Yen Bai Riverside Urban Area has an area of nearly 24ha, a scale of 417 rough houses, with an investment of nearly 1,000 billion VND. Up to now, 16 shophouses and villas have been completed and put into use; 283 houses are under construction.

Binh Minh Tay Bac Social Housing Project has a total investment of over 667 billion VND, a scale of over 24,000m2, including 6 buildings and a synchronous infrastructure system such as yards, internal roads, green trees and a wastewater treatment station.
The implementation process still faces some difficulties, mainly related to site clearance work.
Through inspection, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh acknowledged the efforts of investors in developing urban housing and social housing projects, contributing to meeting the housing needs of people, especially workers in industrial parks and urban areas.
Regarding the project expansion proposal, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh assigned the Department of Construction to review and advise on adjusting the zoning plan of Gioi Phien commune (old), ensuring compliance with provincial planning and general urban planning of inter-wards including Yen Bai, Van Phu, Nam Cuong and Au Lau, as a basis for implementation in the coming time.
At the same time, requesting departments, branches and localities to coordinate to remove obstacles and accelerate progress so that projects can be completed soon and put into operation and use.
