On the morning of July 15, the Office of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee confirmed that Mr. Tran Hoa Nam - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - had signed a document requesting an inspection of the connection and construction of the temporary bridge to serve the groundbreaking and construction of the Nha Trang City mixed-use urban area project on the Quan Truong River.
The above inspection by the Khanh Hoa provincial government was carried out after Lao Dong published an article: "Authorities urgently inspect the filling of Quan Truong River in Nha Trang".
According to the Office of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the investor is implementing the connection and construction of a temporary bridge to serve the groundbreaking and construction of the Nha Trang City mixed-use urban area project.
The above construction is to ensure the project's progress on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Regarding the above construction, Chairman of Khanh Hoa province Tran Quoc Nam also directed the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang Ward to inspect the construction status of the investor.
The inspection is assigned to promptly handle arising issues according to the assigned functions, tasks and scope of management, strictly handling violations (if any).
The above contents will be reported to the Provincial People's Committee on July 17.
Yesterday (July 15), the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province requested the investor to temporarily suspend the construction of the road temporarily encroaching on the Quan Truong River, in Nam Nha Trang ward.
Before the above request, there were construction activities and leveling of land in the Quan Truong River area to serve the Nha Trang Mixed-use Urban Area project.
The entire area does not have a construction information board, does not show the project name, investor or construction progress.
