This year's Math exam consists of three parts: Choose a plan (12 questions); answer correct/false (4 questions) and short answer (6 questions). The test time is 90 minutes.
After the Math exam, many teachers evaluated the Math exam closely following the illustrative exam that the Ministry of Education and Training announced, following the correct direction of capacity assessment according to the goals of the 2018 general education program.

This year's exam is the first time the exam has been applied in parallel to two educational programs. Candidates in the 2018 General Education Program will take four exams, including two compulsory subjects, Math and Literature, and two elective subjects from the subjects they have studied.
Candidates studying under the 2006 Program will take three compulsory exams including Math, Literature and Foreign Language, and choose one of two combined exams: Natural Science or Social Science.
