The leaders of Khanh Hoa province assigned the Department of Construction, the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang Ward to inspect and review before providing official information to the press.
In recent days, information has appeared on real estate forums about a large corporation leveling the Quan Truong River to build an urban area in Nha Trang. This information was immediately widely shared.
According to records on July 14, the construction unit poured soil and rocks to fill the riverbed, forming a temporary road.
Notably, construction activities took place without public information about the project, investor or implementation progress.
Mr. Nguyen Van Minh - Chairman of Nam Nha Trang Ward People's Committee - confirmed the above incident. However, the licensing of filling this area is under the authority of the Department of Construction, not the locality.
Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phu - Director of the Department of Construction - said that the unit has directed the specialized agency to urgently inspect.
The Department of Construction will soon provide official information to the press after inspecting the site.
