The project to invest in building infrastructure for resettlement areas in Phu Lien ward is a group B project, decided on investment policy and investment decision by Hai Phong City People's Committee; Hai Phong Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board is the investment preparation agency. The project is implemented in the period 2025 - 2027, with a total estimated investment of more than 1,048 billion VND from the city budget, on a total land use area of about 33 hectares.
According to the plan, the project includes 6 resettlement areas, including 4 locations in Phu Lien ward and 2 locations in Kien An ward, expected to arrange a total of more than 1,560 resettlement plots. In Phu Lien ward alone, the resettlement areas have a total area of 24.83 ha, expected to arrange about 1,159 plots, creating a land fund to serve resettlement needs, contributing to meeting the requirements of infrastructure development, urban embellishment and the implementation of key projects of the city in the coming time.
The total cost of compensation and resettlement support is estimated at about 351.6 billion VND. In Phu Lien ward alone, site clearance costs are about 286.96 billion VND. The total agricultural land area within the project scope is more than 191,607 m2, urban residential land area is 6,281.7 m2.
At the conference, leaders of the Hai Phong Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board and leaders of the Party Committee and Phu Lien Ward People's Committee agreed to closely coordinate in the process of implementing tasks related to the project, promptly removing arising problems. Phu Lien Ward is committed to being proactive and drastic in organizing implementation, focusing highly on site clearance work, determined to quickly complete the tasks under its authority, contributing to accelerating the project implementation progress.
