Phu Loi Ward People's Committee said that the ward has proposed to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training to consider and propose to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to assign it to the ward for management to expand Phu Loi Primary School.
The usage plan proposed by Phu Loi People's Committee is to renovate and convert the function of the headquarters of the Binh Duong Provincial Statistics Office, which was previously assigned to Phu Loi Primary School for management and use.
Accordingly, renovate and convert the function of the guest house, display house, and parking garage into rooms belonging to the learning support block, serving activities for Phu Loi Elementary School.
Renovation of the office building with a floor area of 907 m2 into a meeting room and library. Renovation of the level IV guesthouse with an area of 165 m2 into a traditional room and educational equipment. Renovation of the level IV exhibition hall into a school meeting room.
According to Phu Loi Ward People's Committee, Phu Loi Primary School is opposite the headquarters of the Binh Duong Provincial Statistics Office before. Currently, the school only has a scale of 33 classrooms and 4 subject classrooms. The school is in a state of overload. When converting functions and renovating this old headquarters, Phu Loi Primary School can be upgraded to a scale of 40 classrooms, reducing the pressure of a shortage of classrooms for the school.
According to reporters' records, the headquarters of the Binh Duong Provincial Statistics Office was previously abandoned for a long time, with overgrown grass and trees, dusty inside, and many items are degraded. Currently, units have begun to cut grass and clean up the premises of this old headquarters. It is expected that this headquarters will be renovated to serve education work right at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year.
