On February 26, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Da Nang City said that the locality is speeding up the site clearance progress for the Lang Van Tourism and Resort Complex project in Hoa Hiep Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District. The project has a scale of nearly 512.2 hectares with a total investment of nearly VND44,000 billion, invested by Vinpearl Joint Stock Company.
The project was approved by the Prime Minister to adjust the investment policy in November 2024 and the People's Committee of Da Nang City approved procedures related to planning and land use. Vinpearl has been allocated more than 10.4 million m2 of land to implement phase 1 since 2016.
Phase 2 of the project requires site clearance of 679 records, including 38 records of land with houses and 641 records of agricultural land and other land. By February 20, 510 dossiers (75.1%) had been completed, with the remaining 169 dossiers (24.9%).
According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Da Nang, the people basically agree with the land recovery. The People's Committee of Da Nang City is giving strong instructions, striving to complete site clearance by the latest latest at the beginning of April so that the project can be implemented soon, contributing to the socio-economic development of the city. The project aims to form a low-density eco-tourism complex, combining trade and services, nature conservation, serving the needs of local people and tourists.
