The Ministry of Education and Training has a new Deputy Minister

Mr. Le Tan Dung - Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs - was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Education and Training.

On February 26, the Government Office announced that Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had signed Decision No. 395/QD-TTg to transfer and appoint Mr. Le Tan Dung - Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Education and Training.

The above decision takes effect from March 1, 2025.

Mr. Le Tan Dung was born in 1966, from Long An province. Mr. Le Tan Dung has held the following positions: Deputy Chief of Office of Long An Provincial Party Committee; Director of Long An Provincial Department of Home Affairs; Secretary of Thu Thua District Party Committee, Long An Province; Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee; Deputy Minister of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs.

The current leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training include: Minister Nguyen Kim Son and Deputy Ministers: Nguyen Van Phuc, Pham Ngoc Thuong, Hoang Minh Son, Nguyen Thi Kim Chi and Mr. Le Tan Dung.
