Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet signed Decision No. 602/QD-UBND approving a list of 77 cases that are arranged to rent social housing at Social Apartments for people with meritorious services to the revolution on Vu Mong Nguyen Street.
The City People's Committee assigned the Housing Management and Exploitation Center to notify households on the approved list to prepare procedures for signing a rental contract in accordance with regulations, and report the implementation results to the City People's Committee and the Department of Construction.
At the same time, notify the People's Committees of relevant wards and communes to manage the residents; be responsible to the City People's Committee for arranging for rent of houses belonging to public property in accordance with this Decision.
Within 30 days from the effective date of the Decision, if households whose names are on the approved list do not come to the Housing Management and Exploitation Center to complete the rental contract signing procedures, the City People's Committee assigns the Housing Management and Exploitation Center to make a list, send it to the Department of Construction for synthesis, and submit to the City People's Committee to cancel the rental arrangement decision.
Previously, on March 24, the People's Committee of Da Nang City held a ceremony to attach a signboard to a social apartment building for people with revolutionary contributions on Vu Mong Nguyen Street. This is a new shelter for families of meritorious people facing housing difficulties.
The apartment project consists of 12 floors above ground, one basement and one attic, providing a total of 209 apartments with an area of 65m2 to 77m2.
The rental price is fixed at 57,822 VND/m2/month (excluding floor coefficient), with the management and operation service fee at 5,169 VND/m2/month. The policy of exemption and reduction of rent is applied according to the provisions of Article 36 of Decree 100/2024/ND-CP.
Subjects eligible to register to rent houses include revolutionary activists before January 1, 1945 and revolutionary activists from January 1, 1945 to the August 1945 uprising; Heroic Vietnamese Mothers; Heroes of the People's Armed Forces; Heroes of Labor during the resistance war; war invalids, sick soldiers, people infected with toxic chemicals, relatives of martyrs and many other cases are stipulated in Article 3 of Decision 47/2024/QD-UBND.
Registrants must have a permanent residence in Da Nang for 5 years or more and have not been able to buy, rent or enjoy social housing support policies in the locality.
