On September 16, the People's Committee of Da Nang City announced that Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Pham Duc An had just chaired a regular meeting of the City People's Committee to approve a number of contents under the authority of the City People's Committee, including contents related to compensation, support and resettlement for the North-South high-speed railway project.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Da Nang City agreed to approve the submissions of the Department of Agriculture and Environment on the opinion on the outline and investigation estimate to determine the current status of Da Nang city's forests; establish a Management Board for the project to restore forests and develop livelihoods in Da Nang City.
Submissions of the Department of Construction on compensation, support and resettlement for the North-South High-Speed Railway Project; Repealing Resolution No. 35/2022/NQ-HDND dated July 14, 2022 on decentralization of authority to decide on construction zoning tasks and the task of adjusting the zoning plan for construction functional areas under the decision-making authority of the City People's Council.
The meeting also agreed to approve the Proposal of the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Civil, Industrial and Infrastructure Projects on the Investment policy of the Project: Investment in construction, renovation and repair of Da Nang Eye Hospital (Hoa Cuong Ward) and a number of other important contents.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Pham Duc An suggested that it is necessary to study, promote decentralization, delegation and pay attention to and support human resources, training and fostering for units and localities to carry out authorized and delegated tasks, especially in mountainous communes.
With a huge workload, it requires leaders and heads of departments and branches to closely manage and grasp the general situation. Thereby, there are more strategic and long-term recommendations and proposals.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City also acknowledged the opinions, proposals and requested departments and branches to promptly complete the relevant documents and contents approved.
