Previously, at 9:45 a.m. on July 25, 2025, the Inspection Team led by the Department of Investigation Police on Corruption, Economic Crimes, Smuggling, and Environment - Da Nang City Police in coordination with the Department of Environmental Protection - Da Nang City Department of Agriculture and Environment, An Hai Ward Police conducted an inspection of the business location of Chicland Danang Beach Hotel (No. 210 Vo Nguyen Giap Street), the above facility owned by CHIC-LAND Joint Stock Company.
Through on-site inspection and work results with representatives of the Chicland Danang Beach Hotel facility, the Department of Investigation Police on Corruption, Economic Crimes, Smuggling, and Environment - Da Nang City Police concluded that the above facility had violated legal regulations on environmental protection and food safety: Construction, installation of equipment, pipelines or other waste lines to discharge untreated waste into the environment; discharging and dumping waste on sidewalks, roadsides, etc.
According to current regulations, CHIC-LAND Joint Stock Company will be subject to a penalty with a total fine of VND 564 million.
The People's Committee of Da Nang City has requested CHIC-LAND Joint Stock Company to force the demolition of works and equipment built in violation of environmental protection regulations to discharge untreated waste into the environment; Forced restoration of the original state and report the results of the remediation of violations.
The time to implement the remediation of consequences is 10 days, from the date of receipt of this Decision.
