Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee has issued Decision No. 33/2024/QD-UBND stipulating the conditions and minimum area for land division and land consolidation for each type of land in the area.
The subjects of application are agencies with the function of state management of land. Organizations, households, and individuals involved in land division and land consolidation for each type of land in the province. Other subjects involved in land management and use.
Accordingly, the minimum area for subdivision of non-agricultural land, specifically residential land (rural and urban land), is 45 square meters. For non-agricultural production and business land, it is 60 square meters.
The minimum area for separating agricultural land plots is 700m2 for annual crop land (including rice land and other annual crop land) and aquaculture land. And the land for perennial crops, production forest land and other agricultural land is 300m2.
The Decision also stipulates the conditions for land division, land consolidation and the minimum area for land division for non-agricultural and agricultural land; cases where the conditions and minimum area for land division do not apply and handling of specific cases.
This Decision takes effect from October 14, 2024 and replaces Decision No. 32/2022/QD-UBND dated September 29, 2022 of the People's Committee of Hau Giang province promulgating the Regulations on conditions for land division, land consolidation, minimum area for land division for each type of land; limits on recognition of the right to use self-reclaimed agricultural land in the province.
