Vietnam Auction Joint Venture Company has just announced the organization of an auction of land use rights for 8 land plots in Binh Minh commune, Hanoi city. Among them, there are 4 land plots in Ngo Ba area, Thanh Than village and 4 land plots in Cua Chua area, Cao Mat Ha village; these land plots previously belonged to Thanh Cao commune, Thanh Oai district (old).
The total area of land plots is 982.58m2, the area of each plot ranges from 85m2 to 183.58m2. Starting price from 13,567,000 to 20,391,800 VND/m2.
The auction session is organized in the form of auctioning each land plot, direct voting at the auction through 4 rounds, according to the upward bidding method. The price step applied in the first 3 rounds is 10,000 VND/m2, the 4th round (last round) is 100,000 VND/m2.
Time to submit applications to participate in the auction is from 8:00 AM on March 4, 2026 to 5:00 PM on March 18, 2026. Applications are sold and received at the headquarters of Vietnam Auction Partnership Company (box No. 6, 1st floor, Sunrise IIA building, NO2A, Sai Dong urban area, Phuc Loi ward, Hanoi) and the headquarters of the Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board.
The auction is expected to be held at 8:30 am on March 21, 2026 at the Binh Minh Commune Party Committee Hall (former Thanh Cao Commune People's Committee headquarters), No. 286 Thanh Than village, Binh Minh commune, Hanoi city.
The organizing unit also noted that before the auction date, if there are changes in the number of land plots, starting price, time or location of organization, auction participants need to coordinate to implement according to the adjustment notice.
It is known that in 2024, this area was once one of the hot spots for land auctions when recording a winning bid of over 100 million VND/m2. Specifically, in August 2024, Thanh Oai district (old) organized an auction of 68 land plots in Thanh Than village, Thanh Cao commune (now Binh Minh commune), with the highest winning bid reaching 100.5 million VND/m2.
Next, on March 1, 2025, the auction of 54 land plots in Ngo Ba area, Thanh Than village, Thanh Cao commune, old Thanh Oai district recorded the highest winning price exceeding 90 million VND/m2. The winning price level at that time was still higher than the market price in the area.
