Accelerate site clearance for Lai Cach Industrial Park Project

Hai Phong - Viet Hoa Ward continues to dialogue and remove obstacles in site clearance for Lai Cach Industrial Park Project.

In the afternoon of May 9, at Dinh Nghia, Nghia residential group, Viet Hoa ward, Hai Phong city, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of the Lai Cach Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Project held a conference to continue deploying site clearance work to serve the project.

At the conference, representatives of households participated in giving opinions, focusing on contents related to compensation, support and site clearance such as inventory of recovered area, compensation unit prices, project implementation time; and at the same time requested attention to investing in transportation systems to serve the people and create favorable conditions for people in the project implementation process.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dao Quang Duong - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Viet Hoa Ward People's Committee - directly answered the opinions and recommendations of the people; and at the same time received the reflected contents and assigned the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department to coordinate with relevant units to consider and resolve according to regulations.

Viet Hoa Ward People's Committee will continue to coordinate with the investor and the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of the project to accelerate the progress of site clearance work, ensuring the legitimate rights of the people, contributing to the early implementation of the project according to the set plan.

The Lai Cach Industrial Park project was approved in principle by the Prime Minister in 2008. In May 2008, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province (old) decided to establish Lai Cach Industrial Park and approved the detailed construction plan. According to the detailed construction plan adjusted in Decision No. 1236/QD-UBND dated May 20, 2014, the total adjusted area in phase 1 is more than 135ha.
