On the morning of April 11, the leaders of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee had a working session with Delta - Valley Binh Thuan Company Limited on the progress of the Dai Duong Valley tourism complex project and to remove obstacles.
The project has an area of 986.3 hectares located along the southern coast of Phan Thiet city. After being granted an investment certificate for the first time since 2008, it has been adjusted 5 times.
Recently, the project has removed some problems. In order to remove the remaining problems, the enterprise proposed the People's Committee of Binh Thuan Province to consider and approve the adjustment of the project investment policy and settle the procedures for changing the form of land use and determining the land price for the area converted to lease land to pay once.
In response to the above proposals, Mr. Cao Son Dung - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment (DONRE) of Binh Thuan province said that there has been a big problem in finding a consulting unit to determine land prices. The Department is looking for major consulting units in the North. In the immediate future, it is necessary to adjust the investment policy.
The leader of the Department of Finance of Binh Thuan province said that on April 8, the unit had sent a document requesting the Tax Department of Region XV to determine the tax obligations of enterprises and is currently waiting for the results.
Mr. Nguyen Minh - Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee gave a time frame for April, the Department of Finance submitted documents to adjust the project investment policy, then the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development submitted a change of land use form to land lease with one-time payment. At the same time, it is recommended that the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development urgently contact the ministry and agencies to approach capable units to advise on land price determination.
Emphasizing the need to promptly resolve problems in the project, Mr. Do Huu Huy - Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee suggested that the company arrange finances to fulfill financial obligations to the state and prepare documents and procedures in accordance with legal regulations. Propose that the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development must select a consulting unit to determine capable land prices. Hopefully the project can be re-implemented in July 2025.
