On October 16, the delegation of Binh Thuan province led by Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Thuan province - inspected the progress of infrastructure investment in industrial parks in Ham Tan district.
Tan Duc Industrial Park was approved for project investment policy for Sonadezi Binh Thuan Joint Stock Company as the investor with an area of 300 hectares in 2021 and was granted an Investment Registration Certificate by the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board in 2021.
To date, the company has coordinated with the local authorities to pay compensation for 171 applications with an area of 251.50 hectares, reaching a rate of 86.27%. The Provincial People's Committee has allocated land to the company for the first lease with an area of 208.76 hectares. Currently, Sonadezi Binh Thuan Joint Stock Company is implementing the construction of the leveling and road projects.
Son My 1 Industrial Park is invested by Son My Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment, Construction and Trading Company Limited (IPICO) with a scale of 1,070 hectares. The Provincial People's Committee has allocated land to IPICO with an area of 76.78 hectares. The industrial park investor has completed construction licensing procedures and organized the groundbreaking ceremony in August 2022.
Son My 2 Industrial Park, Phase 1, was approved for project investment policy for Dong Sai Gon Industrial Investment and Development Joint Stock Company with a scale of 468.35 hectares in August 2023. In the past time, relevant departments, branches and Ham Tan District People's Committee coordinated with the investor to focus on site clearance and infrastructure to ensure the project's construction start in 2025.
Through on-site inspection and listening to reports from relevant agencies, units and localities, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hoai Anh said that the progress of Tan Duc Industrial Park is currently quite good. However, the progress of Son My 1 Industrial Park and Son My 2 Industrial Park is still very slow.
Therefore, it is necessary to promote propaganda so that people understand the purpose and meaning of building industrial parks, thereby creating consensus and support from the people and soon handing over the land to investors to build infrastructure for industrial parks.
At the same time, review the legal basis according to regulations before proceeding with land recovery, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people. The Secretary of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee also requested the Provincial People's Committee to continue directing relevant departments, branches and sectors to support the locality to effectively carry out compensation and site clearance for Tan Duc Industrial Park, Son My 1 Industrial Park and Son My 2 Industrial Park.
Particularly, the infrastructure investors of Tan Duc Industrial Park and Son My 1 Industrial Park proactively built infrastructure in the industrial park when the State allocated land, and soon attracted secondary investors to the industrial park.
