    According to Decision 2304/QD-BNNMT in 2025, many types of land are allowed to be used for multiple purposes.

    According to the Appendix issued with Decision 2304/QD-BNNMT in 2025, the conditions for types of land used for multiple purposes are as follows:

    - Agricultural land is used in combination with commercial, service, livestock, and medicinal plant cultivation purposes.

    - Land used for public purposes is combined with commercial and service purposes.

    - Land for construction of public works is used in combination with commercial and service purposes.

    - Residential land is used in combination with agricultural, commercial, service, and business purposes.

    - Land with water surface of ponds, lakes, and lagoons; land with coastal water surface; land with specialized water surface and land for rivers, canals, ditches, and streams used for multiple purposes.

    - Religious land, religious land used in combination with commercial and service purposes.

    - Land in the agricultural land group, land in the non-agricultural land group used in combination with agricultural purposes, construction of postal, telecommunications, technology, information, outdoor advertising, solar power infrastructure works.
