The investment project to build the road from Bac Song Cam urban area to VSIP Industrial Park road to Vu Yen island is about 2.44 km long, the roadbed is 36 m wide, and synchronously invests in drainage, electricity supply, lighting and bridges on the route. This is a key traffic infrastructure project of Hai Phong city, which is of great significance in completing the traffic network in the Bac Song Cam area, strengthening the connection of the new Political - Administrative Center with Vu Yen island, industrial parks and large-scale urban, service and tourism areas that are being formed.
The project implementation contributes to gradually completing the transport infrastructure system in Thuy Nguyen area, improving connectivity between regions, creating favorable conditions for traffic, attracting investment, and creating motivation to promote socio-economic development of the locality.
Regarding site clearance, functional agencies fully implemented the steps from implementing land recovery notices, inventorying, determining the origin of land; preparing, publicizing and approving compensation, support, and resettlement plans in accordance with regulations.
To date, 132 households have handed over land; and 8 households have not agreed to hand over land with a total recovered area of about 2,000 m2.
At the dialogue, 8 households continued to propose some contents related to arranging more or allocating resettlement to family members; re-measuring the area and reviewing the origin of land to enjoy higher compensation policies... Opinions were directly answered based on legal regulations.
Concluding the conference, leaders of Thuy Nguyen ward acknowledged and highly appreciated the consensus of most households in implementing the project. At the same time, they affirmed that the Party Committee and local authorities always determine that site clearance work must be carried out publicly, transparently, and objectively; and at the same time, maximize support policies within the scope of law to ensure the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the people.
To complete site clearance in September 2026, local authorities request households to uphold their sense of responsibility, strictly comply with the land acquisition decisions issued and soon hand over the site so that the Project can be implemented on schedule.
In case people have additional valuable papers and documents proving their origin, land use process, and legitimate rights of their families, they need to provide them to the local authorities before the enforcement date for consideration and resolution.
In case households still do not agree to hand over the land, Thuy Nguyen ward will develop a plan and organize land recovery coercion before September 20.
