On the afternoon of August 28, the 5th Session (thematic) of the People's Council of Dong Nai City, term I, 2026-2031 is considering and approving the Resolution on investment policy for the project to create a land fund in the vicinity of traffic connection points and traffic routes with development potential to organize land use right auctions in Nhon Trach ward, Dong Nai city (land area of about 358 ha).
The project will implement land recovery, compensation, support, and resettlement for the entire land area of about 358 hectares in Nhon Trach ward, Dong Nai city, with a total investment of about 3,686.2 billion VND.
Thereby, creating a clean land fund with an area of about 358 ha; completing compensation, support, resettlement, site clearance; completing legal documents, planning, and necessary technical infrastructure to organize land use right auctions; increasing state budget revenue; contributing to urban embellishment and local socio-economic development.
The current status of the land is agricultural land (water coconut cultivation, rice land, ponds and lakes); non-agricultural land used by organizations, households, and individuals; about 50 houses of people affected, expected resettlement of about 60 plots at Phuoc An Resettlement Area in Phuoc An commune.
It is expected that the project will measure and count from August - September 2026; prepare, appraise, and approve compensation plans from September - October 2026; pay compensation and support from October - November 2026; recover land from December 2026; hand over land from December 2026 to January 2027.
