On July 14, Long Thanh Ward People's Committee issued a decision approving the plan to arrange resettlement for households being cleared to implement the DT. 769 road upgrade and expansion project, the section passing through the ward.
According to the plan of Long Thanh Ward People's Committee, it is expected to arrange 44 resettlement plots for households. Located in Long Duc Resettlement Area (Binh An commune, scale of 743 plots), with an area of about 91m2 - 263m2/plot.
Previously, on July 10, Dong Nai organized the commencement of the investment project to upgrade and expand DT. 769 road. According to the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board, the investment project to upgrade and expand DT. 769 road has a total length of 29.75km with a total construction investment of nearly 2,800 billion VND. This is a road connecting from Dau Giay intersection to National Highway 51. The road will be upgraded and expanded with a scale of 6-8 lanes.
DT. 769 road passes through 3 communes and wards including: Dau Giay, Binh An, Long Thanh; and is also a vital traffic route serving the transportation of goods from the Northern and Central Highlands provinces to Long Thanh, Nhon Trach areas and vice versa.
The synchronous investment in these routes is a strategic solution to form the western gateway traffic axis of Long Thanh airport, directly connecting with National Highway 1, National Highway 51, expressways and inter-regional traffic networks. When completed, the routes will contribute to reducing traffic congestion on existing routes; creating favorable conditions for transporting passengers and goods from neighboring areas to Long Thanh airport.
