On July 4, the Steering Committee for Site Clearance (GPMB) of Xuan Mai commune organized a dialogue conference with households and individuals in the village who have not agreed with the compensation and resettlement support plan to implement site clearance for the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section.
At the conference, representatives of households and individuals in the villages requested to be provided with complete information on rights, compensation policies for land, assets on land, support work, resettlement, people's rights at each time of buying and selling, construction of works on land, corridor boundary, road elevation after completion...

After listening to the opinions of individuals and households, Mr. Le Minh Khoi, Deputy Head of the Site Clearance Department, Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, directly exchanged, answered and clarified immediately at the conference.
Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Mr. Trinh Ba Thuong, Vice Chairman of Xuan Mai Commune People's Committee affirmed that the project to upgrade and renovate National Highway 6 is a key project, of strategic significance for the socio-economic development of the locality and improving the quality of life of the people themselves.
Mr. Thuong wished that households would promote the spirit of responsibility, agree to sign land handover minutes, hand over clean land on time, contributing to bringing the National Highway 6 project to be completed soon and put into use.
The local government is committed to always standing on the side of the legitimate and legal rights of the people. The detailed plan has been made public based on legal documents" - Mr. Thuong said.

Also at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee Trinh Ba Thuong clarified each content that people are interested in. He hoped that through this conference, he would receive more understanding and agreement from the people, support the State's policy, and soon hand over the site to the construction unit.
Vice Chairman of Xuan Mai Commune People's Committee affirmed that the compensation and support prices are implemented in accordance with current regulations of the State and decisions issued by competent authorities.
Mr. Thuong also shared the difficulties and disadvantages of people when having to relocate and recover land, affecting their daily lives, and affirmed that the government will take responsibility to the end for its decisions, ensuring publicity, transparency, and compliance with the law.
The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section has a total investment of 9,590.8 billion VND, started in December 2022.
The project has a length of 21.7 km, with a cross-section scale of 50-60m.
The project has a total area to be recovered of about 105.13 ha in wards and communes, including: Kien Hung, Duong Noi, Phu Luong, Yen Nghia, Chuong My, Xuan Mai and Phu Nghia.
Up to now, some localities have completed site clearance and handed it over to investors such as Kien Hung, Duong Noi, Phu Luong wards, and Phu Nghia commune.
