On January 18, the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province said that it has issued a document publicizing information and guiding registration and submission of applications for purchase, lease, and lease-purchase of social housing in the province.
According to the Department of Construction, as of January 2026, Khanh Hoa province alone has 12 social housing projects being implemented.
This list includes information about the project name, construction location, investor, number of apartments, commencement time, expected time of commissioning, implementation progress and status of eligibility to receive dossiers.
However, among the 12 projects mentioned above, only the MK Central City Social Housing project, belonging to Phu Ha New Urban Area, in Phan Rang ward, Khanh Hoa province, is eligible to receive registration dossiers according to current regulations.
The Department of Construction said that people who need to buy, rent, or rent-purchase social housing include cadres, civil servants, armed forces, low-income workers and eligible households and individuals.
Official information is announced via QR code or on the Khanh Hoa Department of Construction's electronic information page at https://sxd.khanhhoa.gov.vn, section "Social Housing".


For other social housing projects, when eligible to receive dossiers, the Department of Construction will publicly announce the process including: Receiving applications, submitting dossiers, reviewing, drawing lots, compiling inspection lists and signing contracts on the Department's electronic information portal.
Khanh Hoa Department of Construction especially reminds people not to follow unofficial information and instructions on social networks such as Zalo, Facebook, TikTok; not to pay deposits, fees for "ensuring winning dossiers", buying and selling "diplomatic slots", or through illegal brokerage forms, "running slots" for social housing.
People are advised to proactively learn about legal regulations, only access information through official channels such as: Electronic information pages of the Department of Construction, commune-level People's Committees where the project is located.
If necessary, people can contact the Department of Construction directly to be guided or provide information to the police agency for inspection and handling according to regulations.
For investors of social housing projects, the Department of Construction requires strict implementation of the order and procedures for buying and selling, ensuring publicity, transparency and complete project information.
Notably, investors are not authorized to authorize other organizations and individuals to sign deposit contracts, purchase and sale; strictly prohibit illegal collection of money for houses formed in the future without a written notice of eligibility from the Department of Construction.
At the same time, they are not allowed to sign social housing rental contracts formed in the future when they do not fully meet the legal conditions according to the provisions of the 2023 Real Estate Business Law and the 2023 Housing Law.
