On January 24, information from the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province said that among the 12 social housing projects being implemented, 8 projects were assigned to investors in 2025.
For social housing for the armed forces alone, there are 2 projects, with a scale of 3,570 units.
Over the past time, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has completed many important procedures for new urban development areas such as Cam Lam, Cam Ranh Bay suburban urban area, Nha Trang mixed urban area, thereby creating a foundation for the process of urbanization in a sustainable and modern direction.
In the field of social housing, Khanh Hoa has basically completed the assigned targets.
Specifically, to date, the province has completed 2,846 units according to the plan. In 2025 alone, the locality completed 3,023 social housing units, exceeding the target assigned by the Prime Minister (2,846 units).
Stepping into 2026, Khanh Hoa province determines to continue to synchronously and effectively implement resolutions, programs, and socio-economic development plans of the Central Government and localities.
Determined to complete the assigned goals and targets, contributing to the implementation of the double-digit economic growth target in the period 2025 - 2030. At the same time, the province strives to build and complete the criteria to become a type I urban area and a centrally-run city by 2027.
Leaders of Khanh Hoa province have repeatedly requested social housing project investors to develop detailed implementation plans, ensuring project implementation progress according to commitments.
Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam directed the Department of Construction to review and identify land funds for social housing development to call for investment; and at the same time clarify the order and procedures for selling, leasing, and lease-purchasing social housing.
The disclosure of information, expected progress, verification process and confirmation of beneficiaries are also required to be transparent, creating conditions for people to easily access in accordance with legal regulations.
