On the morning of October 30, according to Lao Dong reporters at the house of Mr. Do Van Huu's family (Tien Huong ward), the group of workers is implementing the first stage to move the house from Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan's land plot.
Mr. Do Van Huu said that after not reaching an agreement to buy and resell this plot of land, his family asked the "genie" to move. The cost is 250 million VND, not including the materials. Up to now, Mr. Huu's family has paid the construction team 150 million VND, the remaining 100 million VND will be paid according to the construction phase.
According to Mr. Huu, the "genie" team of 10 people will move the house for about 40 days. Of which, digging the house foundation took about 4 days, about 10 days to lift the house and it is expected that it will take 30 days to move to the land of Mr. Huu's family.
Previously, at a meeting with the People's Committee of Thien Huong Ward on the afternoon of October 27, Mr. Do Van Huu asked the government and Ms. Loan's family to create conditions to help move the house that had been built to the correct location of the family. Ms. Loan's family also said that they will create conditions for Mr. Huu to move their house within 30 days.
The People's Committee of the ward also mobilized Ms. Loan to resell the land to Mr. Huu's family. In case the agreement cannot be reached, Ms. Loan's family will create conditions for Mr. Huu to move the project. When moving, Mr. Huu's family ensured safety, construction order and the environment.

Previously, as reported by Lao Dong, in September 2024, Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan and her husband received a transfer of land use rights with an area of 60 m2 at plot No. 4856, map sheet No. 03 issued by the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong city (old) on October 19, 2024. However, on November 12, 2024, when Ms. Loan's family came to inspect, they suddenly saw that the land had been occupied by Mr. Do Van Huu's family to build a 2-storey house.
Mr. Do Van Huu said that the construction of a house on the land of Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan was due to a mistake, because Mr. Do Van Huu's family also bought a plot of land, 4 plots from the location of this plot. The People's Committee of the commune has repeatedly requested to stop construction at the wrong location. However, Mr. Huu's family still deliberately continues to build and complete the house. Therefore, Ms. Loan and her husband filed a lawsuit.
The People's Court of Region I - Hai Phong held a first-instance trial of the case, forcing Mr. Do Van Huu to move all his belongings, dismantle all construction works on the land, and return them to Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan and her husband.
