"At the latest by the beginning of November 2025, all 38 resettlement areas and 6 burial areas must start construction. The investment must comply with current regulations, while ensuring the completion of technical infrastructure before June 30, 2026 to promptly arrange resettlement and relocate cemeteries to serve the project," Mr. Hoang requested.

Communes and wards must urgently coordinate to immediately implement compensation work in resettlement areas, burial areas and land mines. By October 30, at least 70% of the site clearance volume must be completed, and the entire site must be handed over by November 30 to serve implementation.
The Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee said that according to the direction of the Prime Minister, the North-South High-Speed Railway project must hand over the entire site before December 31, 2026. In the context of a very large workload, with a land acquisition area of about 323 hectares and more than 4,435 households affected, departments, branches and localities are required to focus highly, enhance their sense of responsibility, and coordinate closely to ensure the set progress.
According to the report, the North-South High-Speed Railway project through Gia Lai province is over 115km long, starting at Hoai Nhon Bac ward (adjacent to Quang Ngai), ending at Quy Nhon Tay ward (adjacent to Dak Lak), passing through 18 communes and wards.
The project is expected to arrange 2 stations: Bong Son Station (Hoai Nhon Nam Ward) and Dieu Tri Station (Tuy Phuoc Tay Commune). The total land use demand is about 758 hectares, of which the cost of site clearance (GPMB) is about VND 6,410 billion. To serve the project, the province has built 38 resettlement areas, 6 burial areas and 10 land mines.
