On January 5, news from the Gia Lai Provincial Investment Promotion Center said that the unit has just announced a plan to organize auctions and bidding for about 138 projects in the area in 2026.
The project portfolio is very diverse, spreading across many key areas such as energy, environment, real estate, trade - services and tourism.
Accordingly, 24 projects will be organized for auction of land use rights and the remaining 114 projects will be auctioned to select suitable investors.
In the group of 24 land auction projects, the housing sector has 7 projects with many large-scale areas, promising to change the urban appearance. Key projects can be mentioned such as: Nam De Gi residential area (Cat Tien commune, about 15 ha); Nguyen Trong Tri commercial apartment complex (Quy Nhon Dong ward, about 17,769 m2); CK54 urban area and Tra Da ecological urban area in Pleiku ward with scales of up to 65.8 ha and 53 ha respectively.
The remaining 17 land auction projects belong to the fields of commerce, services and other industries, including many high-quality infrastructure and service projects. Notably: Sports and entertainment complex in An Khe ward (1.02 ha); 5-star standard hotel project, commercial center at land plot K200 An Duong Vuong street, Quy Nhon Nam ward (10,775.6 m2); or Se San Hotel project in Pleiku ward.

The early public announcement of the project list shows the determination of Gia Lai province in promoting investment socialization and effectively exploiting land resources. Through a public competition mechanism, the province expects to attract capable and experienced investors, making an important contribution to promoting economic growth, completing infrastructure and improving the quality of life in the area in the coming time.
As Lao Dong Newspaper reflected, the golden land area is thousands of square meters wide, with the Se San Hotel building abandoned for many years. The land area has two main facades on Hung Vuong and Tran Hung Dao streets, the bustling center of Pleiku urban area.
Similarly, the land area of thousands of square meters, which is the land fund of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee Guest House (old), has also been vacant and degraded for many years. Inside the campus, weeds grow lushly, concrete is rotten and peeling... This golden land area is also located on two vibrant main roads of Pleiku, Le Hong Phong and Dinh Tien Hoang streets.
