The Ho Chi Minh City Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board has just announced the results of selecting contractors for the Construction and Supply and Installation of Equipment Package; demolition of existing works.

Accordingly, the consortium of Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC (CC1) - Construction Joint Stock Company No. 5 - Group 202 Joint Stock Company was selected to win the bid with a price of VND 1,979.884 billion, about 3% lower than the estimated price of VND 2,041.024 billion. The package is implemented in the form of a fixed unit price contract, with a construction period of 1,000 days.
According to records, the project was built right on the existing campus at 4 Pham Ngoc Thach, with a land area of over 14,344 m2. According to the approved design, the new project consists of 25 floors, including 4 basements and 21 upper floors, the height to the roof top is 84.15 m.

Mr. Minh Quang (28 years old, living in Xuan Hoa ward) expressed: "The old Youth Cultural House has been associated with our youth since our student days, but the facilities have truly deteriorated. Hearing that the new project was up to 25 floors high, with a creative open space and a modern parking tunnel, I was very happy. The important thing is that the location remains the same in the center, very convenient for communication and learning".

A representative of the Project Management Board said that the investor and the contractor are currently negotiating a contract to implement the next steps. After completion, the contractor will demolish the old items to hand over the clean site to serve the construction of the new project. The project is expected to start construction in December 2025.
According to the plan, the entire project will be implemented in the 2025 - 2028 period, ensuring that the construction process does not greatly affect operations in the city center. The goal is to put the project into operation in 2028.

The investment in modern infrastructure and the arrangement of many new functional spaces are expected to help this place become a multi-activity center for culture, education, and creativity of the city.
The project aims to meet the standards of city-level public works, serving major events for young people, street art activities, exhibitions, seminars and open creative spaces.

After completion, the project will expand the capacity to organize large-scale cultural programs, while creating an experiential environment for young people through professional activities, sports, arts, technology and innovation.
