On November 27, the People's Committee of Khuong Dinh Ward implemented the Decision on land recovery for cases that did not comply with the handover of land to implement the Thanh Xuan District Funeral Home project.
According to the decision, the authorities will enforce the Decision to reclaim land for 648.78m2 of land and constructions on land of 18 households and individuals who do not agree to receive money and do not hand over the site to implement the Thanh Xuan District Funeral Home project in the ward (anele 295, lane 271 Bui Xuong Trach street).
Of which, there are 16 works of households and individuals (3 cases of demolition of the entire project; 13 cases of cutting are 1-storey brick-built houses, over 3m high, corrugated iron roofs and 2 vacant plots of land).
Because the working groups of Khuong Dinh ward did a good job of propaganda and mobilization, as of November 27, the Enforcement Board of the Ward People's Committee only enforced 4/18 households; the remaining 14 households agreed and proactively handed over the site before the enforcement time.
The forced land recovery ensures the safety of people and vehicles. The entire site after enforcement will be handed over to the investor to implement the project according to regulations.
The People's Committee of Khuong Dinh Ward said that the Thanh Xuan District Funeral Home project was approved by Hanoi City in 2017; approved the adjustment of the investment policy in Decision No. 4959/QD-UBND dated November 23, 2021 and Decision No. 1633/QD-UBND dated March 27, 2024.
The total land area recovered for the project is 22,875m2, involving 144 cases (141 households, individuals and 3 land plans managed by the Ward People's Committee).
