On April 19, 2026, Bo De Ward People's Committee organized a dialogue with households to remove obstacles in site clearance (GPMB) for the Tran Hung Dao bridge project.
The Tran Hung Dao bridge project is a key project, connecting the capital center with the eastern area. The project has been approved by the Hanoi City People's Council in Resolution No. 10/2025/NQ-HĐND, with a land acquisition scale of up to 27.92ha in Bo De ward. With a total investment of more than 15,000 billion VND, the government is striving to complete the goal of handing over 100% of the site before May 30.
With the drastic involvement of the entire political system, so far the locality has completed the handover of 25.69ha (reaching a rate of 92.01%). This result recognizes the consensus of 173 households with agricultural land and related organizations, creating an important basis for deploying technical infrastructure items according to the plan.

However, there are still about 3.73ha of area that cannot be handed over. This is the main area related to land of units with complex legal nature.
At the dialogue on April 19, representatives of Bo De Ward People's Committee provided detailed information about the compensation plan according to the 2024 Land Law. The government affirmed that the entire process from counting to applying support prices is carried out publicly and transparently. Problems regarding the origin of land and the exchanged land fund for national defense are also answered specifically.
For 0.73ha of aviation land, compensation payment is expected to be completed before April 30, 2026. For defense land, the locality is closely coordinating with relevant agencies to accelerate the progress of allocating exchanged land funds, ensuring the legitimate rights of affected households.
Representatives of Bo De Ward People's Committee emphasized that completing land clearance completely before May 30, 2026 is an urgent task according to the direction of Hanoi City. The consensus of the people is a key factor for the project to be started soon.
