According to the capital's transport development plan, Hanoi is implementing investment in the construction of 7 river-crossing bridges including: Tu Lien bridge, Tran Hung Dao bridge, Ngoc Hoi bridge, Me So bridge, Thuong Cat bridge, Hong Ha bridge and Duong bridge. These are key transport projects, playing an important role in completing the urban transport network, strengthening connectivity on both sides of the river, reducing the load on existing bridge routes and expanding the city's development space.
In Long Bien ward, the Tran Hung Dao bridge project is a key traffic project of the city. The project implementation is of great significance in developing transport infrastructure, urban embellishment and promoting socio-economic development in the area.
Long Bien Ward People's Committee said that the ward identifies site clearance as a key task, with decisive significance for the progress of the Tran Hung Dao bridge project. Policies on compensation, support, and resettlement are implemented publicly, transparently, in accordance with the law, ensuring the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the people. Specialized agencies of the ward closely coordinate in counting, determining the origin of land, valuing assets, and developing compensation and support plans; and at the same time strengthen dialogue and specific explanations to help people understand clearly, feel secure and agree to implement.
Propaganda and mobilization work is implemented in a variety of ways through people's conferences, residential group meetings, party cell activities, mass organization activities, radio systems and electronic information platforms of the ward.
The ward focuses on promoting the effectiveness of "skillful mass mobilization" models, promptly propagating and commending exemplary households and individuals, well complying with guidelines and policies, and handing over land on schedule. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and socio-political organizations promote the core role in grasping the thoughts and aspirations of the people, coordinating with the government to promptly resolve legitimate petitions, contributing to maintaining stability in security and order in the area.
Along with propaganda work, Long Bien ward proactively grasps public opinion, promptly detects and refutes false and distorted information related to project site clearance work; closely coordinates with functional forces to ensure security and order, creating a stable environment for the project to be implemented on schedule.
