Kim Lien Ward will conduct inspections of all old apartment buildings in the area in 2026 to assess the safety level of the project, as a basis for renovating and rebuilding degraded buildings.

According to the plan issued by Kim Lien Ward People's Committee, in 2026, the locality will organize inspection and quality assessment of all old apartment buildings in the area.

Specifically, the buildings will be reviewed and inspected to accurately determine the level of structural safety of the project. Based on the inspection results, the buildings will be classified to determine cases that need repair, reinforcement or demolition.

In addition to checking the structure of the building, the inspection process also assesses factors related to technical infrastructure systems such as electricity, water and fire safety to comprehensively consider the safety level of the buildings.

The inspection will be implemented in stages in 2026. The inspection results will be an important legal basis for detailed planning and deployment of apartment building renovation and reconstruction projects in the near future.

According to the People's Committee of Kim Lien ward, functional agencies will prioritize inspection of Kim Lien, Trung Tu and Khuong Thuong collective housing areas. The ward will coordinate with the People's Committee of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward to inspect 21 old apartment buildings on the city's inspection list, and at the same time continue to review other works to add to the list.

According to reviewed data, in Kim Lien, Trung Tu and Khuong Thuong collective housing areas, there are currently 85 buildings that have been inspected and classified at different safety levels, including 38 houses in Kim Lien area, 29 houses in Trung Tu area and 18 houses in Khuong Thuong area.

These projects will continue to be evaluated and supplemented with information on technical infrastructure systems and operating safety levels according to the provisions of the 2023 Housing Law.
