On September 11, Son Tay ward (Hanoi) organized a conference to propagate the project scale and regulations on compensation, support, and resettlement when the State recovers land to implement the investment project to build the Tay Thang Long main road in the ward.
According to Son Tay Ward People's Committee, the project to invest in the construction of the Tay Thang Long main road is a group A project, a grade I road traffic project, with a design speed of 80km/h, with a total expected construction investment length of about 22km, passing through the communes and wards of Dan Phuong, Lien Minh, Hat Mon, Phuc Tho, Phuc Loc and Son Tay.
The section passing through Son Tay ward is expected to be 4.1km long, from Km17+823 to Km21+975. According to the introduced design plan, the road has a total roadbed width of about 80m, including the motorized road section, parallel road, median strip and sidewalk system on both sides.
This is a traffic route expected to contribute to strengthening the connection of the western area with the capital center, completing the transportation network, technical infrastructure, expanding urban development space and creating motivation to promote socio-economic development in the area.
According to preliminary reports, the route section through Son Tay ward has a total expected number of affected houses of 1,050 houses and a total expected number of resettlement houses of 858 houses. The resettlement arrangement plan is expected at Phu Thinh Resettlement Area and Duong Lam Resettlement Area.
For Phu Thinh Resettlement Area, the expected area is about 8.56 ha, of which residential land for resettlement is about 37,799m2, accounting for 44.13%, expected to arrange 400 units. This area is also planned for cultural land, public green trees, relic land, religious land, roads and parking lots, aiming to form a residential area with a synchronous infrastructure system.
For Duong Lam Resettlement Area, the total expected area is about 21.67 ha, of which new residential land for resettlement is about 84. 112m2, accounting for 38.80%, expected to arrange 651 units. The plan also allocates land fund for social infrastructure works, cultural houses, public green trees, parking lots, traffic, traffic corridors and other items.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ngo Dinh Ngu - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Son Tay Ward requested the Ward People's Committee and specialized departments and divisions to urgently review and immediately resolve pressing people's livelihood issues in the area related to the project, especially issues under the authority of the locality.
Secretary of the Party Committee of Son Tay ward emphasized the requirement that in the project implementation process, it is necessary to ensure publicity, transparency, compliance with regulations, take the consensus of the people as an important basis, and at the same time continue to strengthen propaganda, dialogue, and explanation to help people understand their guidelines, policies and rights.
With the spirit of receptiveness, listening and accompanying the people, the ward leaders hope that households in the project area will continue to share, agree, and support the general policy, coordinate with the government in the process of counting, verifying the origin of land, developing compensation, support and resettlement plans, contributing to the project being implemented smoothly and on schedule.
